Purpose

The Tony-Franklin Foundation of Nacogdoches County was formed to fulfill the dream of a man called Tony Spatola. While battling terminal cancer himself, Tony was too ill to work and consequently, lost the ability to provide for his family. His desire was to put an organization in place that would offer financial assistance to people who were waging two battles; one being the fight to survive cancer, and the other the fight to provide the basic needs for his family. Tony lost the battle with cancer before seeing his dream fulfilled. His vision did not pass from this world with him, but was taken to heart by a group of concerned people in this area.
